Crafted of Quartered and Cathedral-Cut White Oak Veneers in a light earthen-toned finish, it has complementary woven cane door fronts. Chic satin-finished metal knobs accentuate the metal frame and the slender, tapered legs and X-stretcher. The two fixed wood shelves have gallery backs. The two wood-framed doors have cane fronts, soft-close hinges and one adjustable wood shelf behind the doors.

Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces.
